Dermal Fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid, which is a substance that exists naturally in all living organisms and is an essential component of connective tissues, including skin. Hyaluronic Acid has been used to treat joint pain for years. Being natural and of non-animal origin, there is no chance of allergic reactions.
Dermal Fillers are injected with a fine needle into fine lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth, usually under local anaesthesia. The procedure takes around 30 minutes and the results can be seen almost immediately. The effects of Dermal Fillers can last up to a year, but this depends on your age, skin type, lifestyle, and muscle activity.
